anyone else having this?
Yes. Happens to me sometimes on my iPhone X. My theory is that sometimes when the attention awareness feature screws up it alternates from “aware” to “unaware” very quickly, making it seem to be echoing.
Same here. Quite positive it's not the attention feature though, because this also happens to my iP7+. At first I thought I had a busted speaker, but judging from the reports online and other users I personally know, this might probably be a bug in the OS. It's been going on for quite some time now, not sure why Apple has yet to address this.
That’s interesting. I went straight from an iPhone 6 to an iPhone X and never had the issue from the former. Is it possible that it could be related to the taptic engine?
not sure, but I'm thinking it leans more on the software side rather than of the hardware.
I do all my updates via OTA... so if it's the firmware, then probably a fresh restore via iTunes would solve this out. But.. I haven't tried it though. hehe
I meant how iOS handled the synchronization of the tone and the haptic feedback. But yeah I’m actually on the iOS 13 beta and I haven’t felt the echoing issue since
