i think there's a problem with my mid 2009 13" macbook pro's earphone slot. i just noticed lately that whenever i plug something in, it just literally slides. no clicks, no pops. it still works but when i move my mac it goes off. weird thing is i only use my nano's apple earphones, nothing else. tried other earphones (philips, my sister's ipod touch earphones) but it's just the same.

do you guys think i can claim warranty for it? anyone with the same experience?

    thanks

The earphone port should be repaired free of charge if your Mac is still within its warranty period.
