Do they play fine on other DVD players? Also, try opening the movie using VLC.

Based on personal experience, those TDK DVD+Rs are not recognized by the MBP. Pero yung Ridata okay naman.

i use Nero to create my home dvds. it plays fine with the Power dvd player in my desktop PC. plays fine too in standalone dvd players. however, it does not play at all in my macbook. It sees the contents of the dvd naman. Error message is disc not supported.
