I'm not sure iof this has been discussed in other previous threads, but is there a workaround for registering with iTunes and downloading free TV episodes and songs they offter every week? I know that i need a US issed credit card to buy tunes, but how about the free ones?
i think it has already been discussed. try doing a search. i remember reading the title of one but didn't bother to read the thread. hth
Hey oliver, Check out the other threads. Some have discussed ways on how to get an iTMS account without having to enter a US issued credit card. I know they work, as I have an account right now because of those methods.
Thanks but the threads i found required the use of an Itunes prepaid card, which i cant find here in SIngapore. Maybe some kind soul can help?
You need to have an itunes account to avail of the free downloads. Just register but you have to put a US address. Use any address. It could be your relative's address in the US. I know of someone who put a hospital's address as his US address. He just got the address from the web.
Hi, Just tried registering a new Apple ID with a US address. It's still looking for a credit card. anyone know of a workaround?

just use any US address to register in itunes. try using this address: [SIZE=-1] 1 Infinite Loop Cupertino, CA 95014[/SIZE]
If you followed the instructions, you will notice that when it asks for your credit card number there is a NONE option when using the link i provided. PM me if you need step by step help
Here is a workaround. If you buy an online iTunes gift card(with any credit card) then redeem at the itunes store. It does ask for a US address but not a credit card because you are using a gift card. A buddy tried this and it worked. Hope this helps
Like you guys, I've been searching Philmug for the thread on how to download free songs but the only one I found was THIS thread. So if ever there were previous threads, they must be buried somewhere. I'll write here what I did to download the free songs. Go to ITMS and change your address. (Store > View my account > Edit Account Info). Change your address including your zip code AND your country (change to US). If you don't have an Apple ID yet, go to mac.com and get a FREE id. (Just register for a trial account and let it expire -- you'll be able to retain your mac.com id even after the trial period is over). Save your new settings. Your free downloads should start after this.
