Hi, everyone, I'm a paid subscriber to a gamer site -- Gamespot.com. However, I haven't been able to access the site since late last weekend on any of my browsers in my iBook G4. What happens is the site just keeps on loading forever. The site loads fine on Windows PCs but won't load on the browsers I have on my Mac. I have: Camino 1.6.4 Safari 3.1.2 Firefox 3.0.3 My OS is Tiger 10.4.11 Here's the link: http://www.gamespot.com/ Please make sure to click through the ad and proceed to main site. I can view the ad ok but won't load on the main site. Can someone try if it will load on their browser? Whether it does/doesn't, what do you think is the problem? Hope someone can help. Thanks.
it won't load on any of my browsers. what could be wrong? it's the only site that won't load and all my browsers are updated to the latest one. Camino 1.6.4 Safari 3.1.2 Firefox 3.0.3
Turn everything off. Give it a minute or two. Then start to turn on the modem, wait until the lights are good or solid... and work your way up until your computer wakes up...
I've tried it. Still not working. :-( I can go to the site where this big advertising shows up, but when I click to proceed to the main site, it doesn't want to load anymore.
You're not alone. I have the problem too. It's on and off. Sometimes it's ok, sometimes it's not. It loads but it doesn't load properly. Actually it's been like that for a month I think.
Maybe it is an OS issue. Maybe they have a script or something in their page that won't load correctly on the browser? Their sister sites cnet, metacritic and gamefaqs load ok, but not tv.com or mp3.com Here's what Gamespot looks like on Safari (stuck on loading) Here's what it looks like on Firefox (loaded, kinda) Here's what it looks like on Camino (stuck on loading)
we're experiencing this too, both on mac and vista. at first i thought it's the site's CSS or something that went wrong. but my brother thinks its some sort of ISP problem. i just loaded the site here in the office and i was able to load it properly. but at home, we can't. SmartBroadband ba net nio at home?
Nope. PLDT DSL. I think my office uses Globe and PLDT (not sure why, basta dalawa daw) Really? Vista also? Hmmm.
