Re: help naman po. have one, doesn't work with MACs (though there is Mac drivers already but not by behringer). the bundled B-Dj gets the job barely done and is not anymore supported. if using with a desktop less headaches with laptop be prepared to tweak alot of settings to make it very stable. Sayang nga the hardware itself is ok its the software bundled that's not refined. i use it with virtual dj and its a lot better but you still need to tweak it to make it stable. I suggest you get an MP3 capable cd mixer set para no more computer involved. there are a lot now from cheap starter kits to pro setups. numark has the cd mix 3 and american audio also has some models like it. check these out. http://www.adjaudio.com/product.asp?ProductIDNumber=1313&cat=DJ_Systems http://www.adjaudio.com/product.asp?ProductIDNumber=1300&cat=DJ_Systems http://www.numark.com/cdmix3 http://www.numark.com/idj2
Re: help naman po. re: DJ equipment check out forerunner technologies, sila importer ng mga yan. info nasa numark goodies thread. di nakabit sa comp mga yan, just burn your tunes to mp3, mas madami laman per disc so less discs to burn and bring. mas mahirap nga lang mag search kung madami laman ng disc. its hard kung start ka lang eh you need to configure and configure as comp dj is still not as stable as traditional equipment. less temptation pa to cheat by hitting the sync button.
Additional DJ Equipment RANE Vinyl/CD Turntable USB Interface Serato Scratch Live Scratch LIVE is the ultimate software and hardware solution for bridging the analog world of vinyl and the digital world of computer audio files. Using regular turntables or CD players, you can scratch and mix files from your Mac or Windows XP computer's CD or hard drive, add in a live mic input for scratching, and even bypass to standard vinyl if you wish. Scratch LIVE is the complete digital solution for the vinyl junkie -- take your entire collection wherever you go and leave your precious vinyl at home! The SL 1 interface connects one or two standard vinyl or CD turntables to your computer. This extremely rugged, portable, high quality, bus-powered USB interface features two switchable phono or line inputs, a microphone input, two line outputs, and pass thru outputs for the phono/line and mic. The included 12" vinyl records each have a Serato exclusive and unique control signal which allows Scratch LIVE to track the motion of the record, simulating the same movement with digital audio. Due to Serato's proprietary control scheme, the result is a feel and sound indistinguishable from playing vinyl. As a producer and DJ, the track you finished today can be played on a real turntable tonight. You'll never have to cut a dubplate again! See the Scratch LIVE FAQ. Further information about the software is available at Serato website.

The DJ In A Box includes a DM950 2 channel + mic mixer with 2-band EQ on each channel and slide style cueing; two TT-1550 belt-drive turntables; and a HF125 flexible 7-position dual headphone.. okie po ba to sa mga total noob lyk me?
Re: help naman po. re: DJ equipment Since you are just starting. I agree with miniracer. Best have physical components to play with like an actual mixer and cd/mp3 player. Turntables would be nice but amassing a record collection is expensive. When you are comfortable playing with the hardware, later on you can add a way to use your laptop either by buying a controller for your audio files or by buying software like final scratch or the alternatives.
Re: help naman po. re: DJ equipment i suggest you get hercules MK2 DJ console http://www.jr.com/JRProductPage.process?Product_Id=4138179&JRSource=nextag.datafeed.HER+DJCMK2MAC ..you can mix using your mac with the program that comes with the mixer(traktor 7 ,im not sure) with additional small mixer so u can scratch/cue your music! great deal but i think its available only sa states only..you can get them from amazon or nextag or if you have budget get the cdj 200, just got one!..its cheaper if you get them on line but ofcourse you need someone to bring them home for you.luckily i have my brother bringing the item for me
Re: help naman po. re: DJ equipment DeathSight, going back to your first question re Behringer BCD 2000, it is both a controller and sound card in one meant to be connected to a computer. Unfortunately its not compatible with the Mac unlike the Numark DXM-01 USB mixer I am offering you. It's not only a conventional mixer but it is also a soundcard that you connect to your computer so you can mix via MP3s or uncompressed audio. All you need is mixing software and controller which should still fit your budget. Now, if you want to go analog first, you can invest in a pair of direct-drive turntable decks or if you can find a good pair of cd players. Now I strongly advise not to get a belt-driven turntable if you can because its speed is not on par with direct-drive units. In short, "mag-hahabol ka parati" HTH
