For those who SCUBA here's a nifty freeware you might find useful. http://macupdate.com/info.php/id/6070
i found several scuba diving related apps in the macupdate website. not all applications are freewares though. http://www.macupdate.com/search.php?arch=all&keywords=scuba&os=macosx i hope this helps.
I used to use Aqua Dive Log. Pretty cool. Ever since I started using a computer and diving too much, I stopped logging and looking at the tables. Except when I have to teach someone, haha.
OT: noweev, no. Just a divemaster. On topic, I found the download site for DiveTableX here: http://dive.giantmike.com/download.html
OT This scuba diving really gets in your blood heheheh. Before I used to work strictly in City Hotels now I prefer resorts so I get to dive very often.
Oh wow! I, too, feel the urge to submerge!!!! The last time I went diving was also February...February 2001!!! Man, it's been too long. Way too long!!!
OT pa rin. I promise I will dive the next time I go home. I burned out working as a DM and stopped diving all together for a while. Maybe it's time to dive again. On topic. so has anyone checked out the software?
Hi fellow divers/muggers! Is there a software that supports Suunto D6 or D9? The driver available on the Suunto official site is only for PC.
http://www.macdivelog.com/ This works with the D6 and D9. This is not freeware though. Where did you get the cable for your Suunto? Last time i asked they were out of stock in Scubaworld.
I don't have a cable yet because it's not supported on Mac platform. I'll check first the link you posted before buying one soon. Thanks!
OT: Is there such a thing as a PhilMUG scuba group? Haven't gone down in about a year and a half! Where are you guys affiliated? I'm with Aqua-One (now A1dive).
i was hoping that there'll be a mac support for the suunto dive manager so that we won't need to buy a third party software. i'm not so sure about the d6, but i am postive that the d9 comes with the usb cable.
nice avatar mac lover! wow these links are very helpful...thanks for sharing these links guys! Keep on Diving!
