Can you share how you used the Open VPN on the Edge router? I have a USG but maybe there's a way to configure it.

Not possible on a USG with limited feature set than an EdgeRouter. You’d have to do VLAN routing and I think that’s not enabled on the USG.

When you say VLAN routing, you mean creating a VLAN and assigning the VPN enabled devices on this VLAN? I was hoping I can create a VPN and make a VLAN for all the Apple TV devices and put them under this VLAN only. Everything else would be normal. The only ready option at this time is PPTP, Was hoping there's a work around.

I helped a friend to set up ExpressVPN via OpenVPN on an EdgeRouter X. I configured it so his Roku (and only the Roku) uses the VPN connection. I used the guide in the first post here: https://community.ui.com/questions/...geRouter/cbe24345-5a31-492d-9cd4-30976c26d142. Hope this helps. Not sure if it works on a USG, although I don't see why not since you can also use the Command Line Interface there...

That’s the short concise version of the steps. @Juice you can try it if the USG OS supports it. The advantage of EdgeOS on an Er-X is that the device’s UI allows me to change the VPN profile instead of going through the command line once I have set it up.

I'm going to experiment tonight when nobody is using the internet. I'll also try the PPTP if it works with Disney+.

@Sunil_K : Heard Disney+ is launching in India next month, via Hotstar—making it the first in Asia?

Let us know how that goes. I doubt it would be replicated elsewhere in Asia though, because Hotstar isn't pan-Asian, unlike Netflix, Hooq, Vic, etc.

Parang Apple Store or iPhone availability lang yan—kulelat ang Pinas. ;)

The Disney OTT offering of Globe (Disney Life) is AFAIK an Ireland/UK version—think of it as Globe subscribers having a VPN access to the UK version of Disney Life—which is why even if there are Filipino dubs of Disney movies, they are not available on Globe's Disney Life.

I have met with Disney execs in Singapore (though for a different project), and they didn't disclose much (even if they did, NDA). But a little birdie inside whispered "don't expect Disney+ in SEA until 2021". But hey, when you wish upon a star... ;)

Licensing is a messy industry. Disney pulled out all stops to make it happen and that's just the US market. Disney didn't wait for licensing to expire, they bought them back for launch. They might be taking it slow with the Asian market as we already have Disney Life to tide us over but I'm guessing they're just waiting for contracts to expire to fold them in to the new offering.

Frozen 2 will arrive earlier than expected on Disney+. It'll arrive on Sunday in the US, Tuesday for other territories.

Another recent Disney Pixar movie is coming to Disney+ way ahead of schedule. Onward will land on Disney+ in the first weekend of April.

I dont know how accurate is this, i just receive a message on the disneylife messenger when i ask about the status of my disneylife subscription.

“DisneyLife will no longer be available from 23 April 2020 and your current subscription will automatically end on your next billing date after 23 March 2020. DisneyLife is rebranding to Disney+ on the 24th March, so please stay tuned for more information to see when the app will be available for you!”

    Have a lovely day!

Folks. Sorry if this has already been asked before. How do I stream Disney+ from my iPad to a TV. I’ve tried Apple TV and Chromecast. Both didn’t work. TIA.

Based on experience ExpressVPN's Smart DNS works better vs Getflix's Smart DNS with regards to Disney+. But nothing beats setting up a VPN on your router.
