"Digital Darkroom: Photoshop for Photographers" Learn the basics of photo editing with Photoshop 7.0. Whether you're a digital or film photographer, an amateur or a pro, a Mac or a PC user, you can enhance your photos with the different tools and techniques of Photoshop. The sessions will cover the essential topics such as color theory, the computer as a digital darkroom, and the Photoshop environment and tools. Basic photography skills and a working knowledge of your computer's operating system are required. It would be advantageous to bring your own laptop to the sessions but this is not a pre-requisite since an LCD projector is available. A minimal fee of P1,500 covers the two sessions plus handouts and bottomless iced tea. =) This will be held on October 9 and 16 (Saturday), 2:00pm to 6:00pm. Venue is at Kwarto Bar and Restaurant, Chamber 8, Puerta Isabel 2, Muralla St, Intramuros Manila. About the Lecturer: Rad Basa has been in and out of the graphic arts industry for the past 10 years. With his recent discovery of photography, he is now creating a fusion of these creative skills. This is already the second run of the Digital Darkroom workshop.
