same as dave_d....put it on trash and search for some other pieces using spotlight to locate other app related files

    Re: Uninstalling Applications

Almost every file needed to run the application is contained in the package. Right click (or ctrl click) the application file and select Show Package Contents to see what I'm talking about. In fact, most apps can be transferred from one computer to another without installation. Simply drag and drop the app from one computer to another and, boom, it runs. (not true for complicated apps like Photoshop CS though).

However, the application will need to refer to preference files, which are written the first time the application is launched. Preference files contain not just your customized user settings, but your registration info as well. These files normally go into the Library folder. There are two Library folders, one in the root and one in your home folder (the more users, the more Library folders). Applications may write in one or both of them.

These preference and library files are usually very small. If left behind (i.e. you deleted the app without deleting the related Library files), they should not cause your system any harm.

    IOW, don't worry about it.

AFAIK, you can link it to your blog or site. The developer will deduct US$0.05 for every hit produced by your site. IOW, it will e free provided you generate an adequate amount of traffic. A pretty ingenious marketing scheme, if you ask me.

    Re: AppZapper

I have a registered free copy of version 1.0.0 that says I have free upgrades for life. When I upgraded to 1.0.3 through drag and drop, I lost the registration.
Before I email support, does anyone know how I can recover the registration? What is the correct way of upgrading?
