    hello, good afternoon
    anyone noticed this?
I use firefox an a macbookpro, try to log into my yahoo mail account, enter my user name, try to enter the password. either immediately or after a couple of key strokes the cursor jumps from the password field up to the username field, adding what I types to the user name.

I noticed this first when using a PC and firefox to log into the account. It also happens on the Mac. It does not happen always but often enough to be most annoying.

    any explanation at least?

Re: cursor jumping between username and password field when logging into yahoo accoun

so i'm not the only one who is annoyed by that feature :D

what happens here is that after completing loading the page, yahoo mail will bring the focus on the username field. this seems to be the ideal thing to do.
But in the real world, people don't wait for the page to be fully loaded before typing in the username field... and by the time they get to the password field the page completes loading... and viola... javascript takes cursor back to username field.
