Does anyone here know how to burn a .cue file using a mac? btw, i don't have a .bin file it's a cue file for an mp3 kasi e.. so i need it to be sliced up.. i don't know how to do it.. any suggestions?
Sorry to say, but you're out of luck. The bin is the mandatory file in that "pair" as it has the actual information needed to be burnt. .CUE files are ultimately, pointers to bin files. You can actually burn a .BIN (if the program allows) alone, but not the other way around. [Edited on 9-30-2005 by nargalzius]
oh i see, kasi pag mp3, walang .bin files e...nero can see the cue files and do not need .bin o well i guess dito natalo ang mac sa pc Thanks for the speedy reply dude
have you tried using toast? and are the mp3s in the same folder as the .cue file? i think you can open the .cue file in textedit and check the paths of the files so they could point to the mp3s properly.
Radrad, Ang alam ko the cue's are pointers, but I honestly haven't tried using them to burn files that are already in the machine (like your mp3 scenario) So I guess it is possible in that sense to have the cues only... but again, you're still pointing to something Simple proof of that is to put the .cue file in a different machine (after setting it up as you would do in your mp3 scenario) and try burning it. Of course there's also the chance that Nero can make a different kind of cue file with all of the information available, but that's more of an exception than the rule. Speaking of exceptions, in case you didn't know, you can SOMETIMES burn DMGs on a pc by simply renaming them to ISO. This is assuming the DMG was made using non-compressed, non-encrypted settings (similar to the ISO standard) [Edited on 10-2-2005 by nargalzius]
