I hope someone from Malacanang ask Mr. President for some funds to replace all the watches.

I think not all are working properly...

Mm...saw the video earlier. Disgusting how some groups are using the crisis to advance their personal agenda. Arrest them. Arrest their leaders. Enough pussyfooting with Kadamay.

So now they want to centralize all donations, it has to go through the government units.

We're already hearing of problems in government hospitals, that it doesn't trickle down properly to the doctors and nurses, the higher ups ration it, or keep some for themselves.

Good luck with that. You're just going to decrease donations if you implement that proposal.

Lawmaker calls for month-long Luzon quarantine extension | Inquirer.net

Local authorities should do what Singapore is doing...

Work from home if you want/can
    Office Flexi time if required
    Bars/Cinemas (entertainment venues) are closed

Shutting down Luzon for another month will close a lot of industries...

Scientists Discover More Aggressive Strain Of Coronavirus Responsible For 70% Of Current Infections
    whotrades.com

Chinese scientists studying the new coronavirus have found two new primary strains of the disease – one of which appears to be far more aggressive.

The researchers, from Peking University’s School of Life Sciences, discovered a milder “S-type” strain, and an “L-type” which is highly infectious and currently accounts for around 70% of cases, according to The Telegraph. The researchers cautioned that their preliminary findings looked at a limited number of cases (103), and that follow-up studies with larger data sets are needed to better understand the virus’s evolution.

A genetic analysis of the coronavirus found in a man who tested positive in the United States on January 21 also showed that it’s possible to be infected with both strains.

Coronavirus, which was first detected in December 2018 in Wuhan, China, has infected at least 94,000 people – officially, and killed more than 3,200 as of this writing.

And while there are now two major strains identified, scientist Trevor Bedford of Nextstrain has been tracking 161 strains of SARS-CoV-2 (the virus that causes COVID-19) in patients across the globe.

It's normal for a virus to mutate . Nothing diabolical about that then that virus is evolving it is nature no human intervention needed. If you go thru the website of Nextstrain gather than the article. You would find out there is no concrete evidence that it is man-made .

Critical thinking is needed during this time. We have to understand that current media is based on clicks and views. Your Social media feed has innate bias. You see what you like to see because it generates more shares, more traffic, and more ads. Facts become secondary to the sensational headline.

Before trying to share anything sensational do a little bit of fact checking first. We are all under quarantine and we have no excuse to spend just a little more time to verify our sources.

And if you do notice your source is a bit off-center, try to read from either side and understand where their headlines are coming from.

That's why it's not good practice to repost articles/news unless they've been verified as true since there are many going around that come from dubious sources.

This was an issue here in our Condo. A lot of our neighbors are clamoring to the PMO to reveal who are the ones that tested positive, or at least announce the building on where they are from. The PMO won't budge, but eventually, the family of the covid+ patients are the ones who announced it in our FB group to clear the air, and asked for our support as they are currently quarantined inside their units.
