    thinking out loud
    on covid 19 declining numbers

    you had the vaccine
you're just barely making ends meet
press release is ... you will not develop severe covid
you have a fever.. or symptoms of covid
will you get tested or ride the fever out ?

so be very careful out there, the numbers may be misleading

All I can say is that a week or two ago the Philippines ranked at the bottom of countries to be in, with regard to Covid. And then very suddenly… ok na!

Numbers of infection was misleading since day 1 . It was completely shot in the dark using only a candle light.

So we're going to be on Alert Level 3 starting October 16 (Saturday), and AFAIK, everyone can go out (Seniors & kids, vaccinated or not). No more restrictions. We are finally liberated. What do you guys think of this development?

The irony is that in places like banks and supermarkets, you can't enter unless you have your face shield on. And you stay inside for what, less than an hour? While in Cinemas, you can have no face shields for the next 2 -3 hours, and that's OK? This face shield mandate really sucks.

Cautiously optimistic about this. Latest SWS survey shows that 60+% of Filipinos still wary about reopening the economy this much, and expect the worst is yet to come.

On the reopening of cinemas, face shield not mentioned.

“Kapag nagbukas po tayo dapat one seat apart muna, tapos the whole time na nanunood ng sine naka-mask ‘yung mga nanunood. Tapos wala munang kakain," CEAP President Charmaine Bauzon said.

it's bound to happen, sooner or later.

are the kids/seniors in your family (or friends) really staying home?

Though fully vaccinated and observing health protocols, Me and my family won't still eat out nor go see a movie.

    Same here.

I'd only do so once over 80% of or over 88.8 million individuals in the Philippines are fully vaccinated. I rather put the money for hospital care into more Apple devices.

Mm..still will observe self-imposed quarantine and avoid unnecessary or discretionary malling or movie theater visits even though I am fully vaxxed. Personal risk-reward assessment.
