Some people are barely scraping by, meanwhile these people are busy shamelessly enriching themselves from tax payer's money. The company itself is already shady from the start, lol. I guess, connections do matter.

He has been conducting business in the Philippines for 20 years, so I have read.

The data of FDA is way far from that of LGUs.

Looking at the FB Mandaluyong PIO, the number of breakthrough infections for September alone is already at 498!

See photo collage below (photos grabbed from their FB posts):

I don’t mean to sound xenophobic but there are 100M plus Filipinos he can choose from and he hires someone who doesn’t even speak our language. I watched the senate hearing, he had a translator with him.

Mm…US CDC study of 600,000 covid cases

    • More than 600,000 Covid cases from April through mid-July were analyzed and linked to vaccination status.
    • Those who were unvaccinated were about 4.5 times more likely to contract the virus, more than 10 times more likely to be hospitalized with the virus, and 11 times more likely to die from the disease.
    • About 54% of the U.S. population is fully vaccinated, according to the CDC.

I had Filipino-Chinese friends/classmates who were born and raised here, but their first language is still Mandarin/Cantonese. American and Indonesian classmates who only understood Filipino swear words. Hence, it was painful watching them report in class as their minds were translating words in their heads before the actual English/Filipino words came out of their mouths.

I'm not defending DOH, Du30 and the Gov't. But I always believed we should have opened up out country to foreigners a long time ago. Hence, learning the language is not as important as the $$$

Everyone has been doing businesses for XX number of years.

But the President's friends (obviously) made it big when he won.

Yes, I am not aware of the requirements for being a Presidential economic adviser but I always thought government positions such as this were given to Filipino nationals only and I thought speaking the Filipino language is a requirement for this. I guess I am wrong.

The dolphin throws a tantrum like he is at home. What a shame! He can't even take what you notice about what the government should do without reacting loudly. What happened to him? I guess whoever is given a position eats principles and takes a side that they know is somewhat wrong. I admire those who are immune from the abuse of authority. Pimple nose is venting his ire on Gordon because he is cornered. This government is a joke.

What do you think about our schools not being open yet? While I think that we should, the sheer horror of thinking that things can go worse for us merit our school's closure. Imagine children cramped in school buses and inside the classroom? Dehado lang talaga ang mga nasa public schools.

I am absolutely against it. The government has neither constructed additional classrooms, nor hired additional teachers to accommodate socially distanced face-to-face learning. All it takes is for one student to being the virus to a classroom, and it will spread like wildfire.

And speaker Roque is a clown. I listen to his daily statements for comic relief. You guys should also learn not to take this guy seriously, ever.
