Most muggers burn the midnight oil doing work, reading through posts (or posting themselves), or simply doing nothing, but I am sure a mug of coffee is always at hand. I remember taking PatrickGaerlan's Death by Caffeine link last year, and then, again taking one* among many, many coffee addict quizes to break the monotony of work.
Sharing a favorite diversion link (aka sites that help break the usual routine) is a mug I myself would like to have, not for its intended purpose (I take my coffee black, kind of like Pantone 4975C), but as collection.

Posting for the coffeeMUGgers (and to the teaMUGgers, too!). ::)

    How about Coffee Geek?

    http://www.coffeegeek.com/

I don't drink much coffee anymore, since it wreaks havoc on my metabolism and makes me too giddy that I cannot work properly. Smelling good coffee is enough for me. Gosh, I'm missing such a big part of my life.

Hahaha, maryanne. Not only are you missing a big part of your life, but also the potion which lengthens it...on the other hand, that is why you got to live to 420, isn't it? ;)

I took a special secret potion for that. Hmm. Maybe it contains caffeine. Maybe that explains why I still can't sleep so much. Methinks I shall ask my druid.

Tea it shall be then, morphine :) (The mug which is being poured with milk is actually the My Cuppa Tea mug).

OT: I almost can't resist offering this to a belated non-sequitur, angst-laden post over at a neighborhood thread but you beat me to posting (didn't want to add to the issue, too).

    Oh well...

I think I'm going to have a cup of coffee now. Going through this thread is stimulating the coffee addict in me. :)

Coffee addict here. I get a headache from caffeine withdrawals when I don't get my daily fix.

I have a Saeco fully automatic espresso machine at home. One of these days, I'll upgrade that to a Rancilio Sylvia. Every morning, a double espresso. Every afternoon, another double espresso (which sometimes is in the form of a double tall non-fat no-whip mocha from Starbucks).

I'm trying to figure out which Pantone equivalent your double espresso matches, elbert, but I tell you not, you do need your fix just about right now.

Even just the smell of freshly brewed coffee is heavenly to me. Once I've had a cup too many though I have to have my antacid ready. :)

 Unless you prefer black, you can 'soften' the acidity of coffee with milk or cream.
Why not post your favorite mug (or cup, as the case may be) over here? I'll start, thanks to PhotoBooth, my rainy Saturday afternoon nth mug (it's empty in the photo):

I used to put lotsa cream on my latte but it did not prevent me from having to see my gastro specialist. :( I still got acidic.

Nonetheless, I am still a coffee addict and always will be. :D

Hi Elbert, I'll buy your Saeco when you upgrade. Is that the model with the built-in grinder? My Saeco Gran Crema doesn't have a grinder kasi.

I feed my espresso machine with Figaro City Roast, ground one dial mark coarser than full espresso. I take two shots at breakfast (demitasse) and I'm good to go. After lunch, I may have one cup at Palms Country Club - or a cheap Nescafe Cafe Mocca at Total Service Station. The Figaro 200g bag lasts me two weeks.

My midday coffee is more for the sugar fix than its caffeine kick. I usually pair it with Food for the Gods at Palms or the Holland waffles at Total.

Maybe OT: Dulcinea's Churros and Spanish Chocolate also gives me that same buzz I get from coffee. Or batirol from Tsoko-Nut.

Right now I am enjoying the local coffee here. Strong black Vietnamese coffee slow drip to your cup containing condense. Local coffee is pretty strong
