The recent generation of Sony Bravia Android TVs have built-in Chromecast. Great timing if you're buying a new TV.

Both Chromecasts said that their country code is from the US. And most importantly, first gen does perform faster than 2nd gen. Hmph, it does smell fishy around here.

Is the Chromecast 2 way better than the 1st gen?

I currently own a first gen and I need another one...

Chromecast 1 sells for S$39.00 while the 2nd Gen costs S$65.00

Does the 2nd gen chromecast could mirror literally what are you seeing in your iphone/ipad?

Does it supports iwant tv or the sky on demand apps?

Cause i basically use my ipad for video, streaming but bringing it to the big tv would be better..

Just got a Chromecast 2.0 and thinking of using it on the hotel's wifi connection (the one that uses a login page). I brought my Airport Express with me, so do you think I can make it work? I tried sharing my wifi connection via Connectify app and it works but I want to use the AE though. Help!
