when i was a windows user before, i used njstar to convert my chinese character directly to pinyin. all i have to do was highlight the whole document and press covnert to pinyin and voila! pinyin words appear below the chinese text. when i switched to mac, there was no njstar counterpart for mac. does anyone know any counterpart of njstar or pinyin converter or chinese romanizer?
Hi Sonja, This might help: http://www.yale.edu/chinesemac/pages/roman.html Also, I'm not sure if you know this, but you can natively input chinese in OS X. Check it out under international under system prefs.
I dont know if this will be helpful for you, but this translator website helps me a lot whenever i want to view description of my online chinese-page auctions: http://babelfish.altavista.com HTH
I think she meant how to make the chinese character into english character. Like 我 will become "wo". At least thats how i understand her.
