FYI Chikka was recently in the news..

They were ordered by the NTC to stop charging Cell users...

I would be nice to have a Chikka version for Mac, right? :D
But I didn't know they charge the users?. Really? Paano? :(
I thought their service is for free :wound:

So, talagang wala ng FREE sa Panahong ngayon, ano?

I dont think they charge the users.. I believe that most of these globe/smart users unknowingly replied to the chikka text they got instead of replying to the real mobile number of the sender. that's why they are being charged extra 2.50 or something.

Thats what i always thought too... thats why whenever i use chikka to text them i put in the end... "pls reply in my cell number" unless unknowingly when you register you're cell number to get a chikka account it deducts also P P2.50 per send from pc to cell phone... yikes!!!

Well thats what we all know from the start having a chikka account... its just these people who reply to our chikka messages using their cellphones get deducted P2.50 per reply

Right. Hindi chikka users ang nagbabayad kundi yung nagrereply sa chikka users. Which is not fair especially when you are not aware you are replying to a chikka number. Hindi naman kasi napapalitan ang display name.
