I knew something like this would happen. We have come to an age that the danger of granting full device access (jailbreak, root, etc.) has become too dangerous for our own good. It was just a matter of time. I'm just glad I stopped JB'ing my iDevices years ago.

But for those who are in the predicament, change your passwords immediately and enable two-factor authentication.

Moving forward, STOP using shady or questionable repositories. Or stop JB'ing altogether if you value security.

If you have no jailbroken iOS devices — iPhones or iPads — you are not exposed to threat or harm.

Pat yourself on the back, you are a well-behaved PhilMugger. :D

Been using Apple because of security, JB'ing just nullifies its most greatest asset.

Mmmm.....that's patently false. It's been reported that this malware was found by customs inside a balikbayan box and promptly overtaxed before being released. PH JB iPhone users, beware!

Those are just the list of countries where the affected email domains resides, not the user itself. So if you use @hotmail, @icloud, or @gmail, among others, as your icloud account login AND your iDevice is jailbroken, you may be affected.
