Hi guys. Does Panther have a built-in software for CD burning for mp3 or data?? I can't seem to find it. If there isn't any available, what software would you recommned that's free and available for dloading in the internet. So far i've seen XCD Roast. but i'm hesistant in downloading it cuz it might do some damage to my hardware. Thanks!
OS X has builth in software for burning Data. Also you may use iTunes to burn mp3 or CD audio files without the use of third party burning program. Still Toast is the most widely use third party burning appz. You could download Discblaze or find other free burning tool at versiontracker.com Oh btw, don't be hesistant to try out new software it won't do any physical or hardware dame on your Mac. hi jumbo.... i had the same dilema a couple of weeks ago maverick provided me we lots of help check out this link --> http://www.philmug.ph/viewthread.php?tid=1067 peace out
Running OS X Panther 1. Click System Preference, under Hardware click CDs & DVDs icon. 2. Under 'When you insert a blank disc' make sure its on "Ask what to do" 3. If not change it then close System Preference. 4. Insert a blank disc on your CD rom. A pop-up asking you to select an Action... for now choose Open Finder then click OK. 5. Once you see the CDR icon or disc on your desktop you can drag any data files you want to burn. 6. Then Burn by either Ctrl click on the disc icon then choose burn disc or double click it and you'll see a burn icon beside the CD. Good luck
