cannot change printing quality setting in Photoshop CS 3 (using Epson printer R230)

    anyone else experienced this? I'm using an Epson R230. I've already downloaded the updated software of epson (for intel macs) from their website

    I learned something new today :)

    It's not enough to install the new printer driver version in Mac OSX. I had to manually delete the epson folder in /Library/Printers and install the updated driver for it to work. Found this out when I checked the printer driver version of the printer before and it was still at version 2.5 (the updated version is 3.01)
