If you need access to his screen, then Leopard's Screen Sharing feature (via iChat) ought to do the trick. However, I believe both of you have to be on Leopards for this to work.

now we both log-in to ichat using our gmail account,
but the "ask to share my screen" is grayed out, thus i can not use it.
is this because we're using gmail.
have to pay with .mac account that's why i use gmail

by the way its a 60 day trial so you get to spend enough time with it before it will expire. and by that time you think you need to sign up for the actual .mac account. If that is the case, then welcome to the club!! lol

Haha! My 60days are up on June 6th.

I might hold out though. I want to see if the rumoured changes to .Mac really are true.

Will probably pay after WWDC and if it's rolled out then.

    TUAW-Big changes coming to .mac
