Hey guys, are there providers that offer Cable internet ? When I applied for my Globelines service, they told me it was cable but when they came to install it I saw that it has the same connection as DSL/phone line. In the states I used to have cable internet which was blazing fast. It has the same connection as a cable tv line.

Are there any providers out there that use this type of method? I remember having 5mbps -/+ constantly with cable internet.

I don't think their service will ever be available here in Novaliches. It's not exactly Corinthian Gardens here. Oh well DSL's ok. I also got used to using cable internet with Comcast in the USA. Anything else seems slow.

mine's destiny. is zpdee any good? because our tv's sky cable. i heard zpdee has promo. if you subscribe to their platinum plan cable internet is free.

destiny's connection is ok. its just that their service is so slow. you call them up and they go to your homes the next week.

I can't believe that thi is Destiny's speed! I used to get somewhere in the range of 600 kb/s on a good day. Hope it stays this way throughout the holy week.

My Destiny offers value for your money. It's just 999 straight up, with only one plan.

I saw some banners here in Hong Kong about now Cable giving 100mbps and PCCW giving 15mbps for only below 100HKD, too bad I'm not living here...

I'm just stealing wifi from other people.

TIP for those who are going to Hong Kong. To get 30 days PCCW Wifi for free.

Buy a regular number sim card, use it if you want or not. ( if not, buy the cheapest one)
connect to an access point named PCCW which has over 4000 hot spots throughout hong kong. click on the link down which say free 30 day trial.
Enter you name, email and mobile number. enter the activation code, and surf for free for the rest of your trip, sadly, it's just 1.5mbps, but it's good for youtube. and surfing with your iPhone.
