    Hey guys, gals and mods!
I would like to propose that the Bokeh page be restarted. (",)
However, we should follow the newly set guidelines found here.

Suggested format, (to prevent redundant questions and comments):
    1.) Title
    2.) Location
    3.) Camera, Lens
    and 4.) Camera Settings
    5.) Photo

    Example:
    1.) Tree of Light
    2.) Bag of Beans, Tagaytay
    3.) Nikon D90, Tamron 17-55mm f2.8,
    4.) Exposure: 0.01 sec (1/100)
    Aperture: f/2.8
    Focal Length: 17 mm
    ISO Speed: 250
    Exposure Bias: -2/3 EV
    Flash: No Flash

Hope this will work out and be approved. This is one of the threads that I miss learning from.
    God bless y'all!

Shot wide open at F/3.5 - This camera has only one focal length -80mm. I can;t quite remember the shutter speed used already.

REBORN or rebooted is OK, but let's be careful not to RECYCLE photos from the old thread.

Nice shot sir danielg, how did you do that? I'm actually new to photography and I want to learn more stuff...

    ----EDIT----

Photos awaiting for transfer. Not "Bokeh" Photos as Sir Crucial Pointed out

    -------------

    Thanks Sir Crucial ^_^

I've got a few additional Questions; I have a d90 too..What would be the advisable additional lenses and settings that you could recommend? Are there any "Hidden Stances" to get that perfect shot? Is it always necessary to upgrade systems? What are the Necessary elements for a great picture? Do I need to take photography lessons to be a photographer? Which is better? Nikon or Canon?

    zeon,

I don't think those photos fit the thread.

I barely see a bokeh on those photos.

crucial, That's also my main concern..I just shoot photos...And I don't even know what a bokeh means. Anyway on what thread can I transfer the above photos sir?
    -----EDIT----

    Googled it

    Now I know...hehehe

In photography, bokeh is the blur,[1][2] or the aesthetic quality of the blur,[3][4][5] in out-of-focus areas of an image, or "the way the lens renders out-of-focus points of light.

    @zeon22

I suppose you can post those on the Canon thread or in the Hit Me With Your Best Shot. (Choose the photo which you think is above all on your set. :D

Zeon, That shot was done with a medium format camera. Medium format film camera has a bigger film area kasi therefore like digital cameras, the bigger the sensor ( film) the shallower the DOF when shot wide open at big apertures. If you are using a dslr, use a fast lens - lens with a big aperture to achieve a shallower DOF. Different types of lens aperture blades also produces different kinds of bokeh, Some lens produces messy looking bokeh while some produces smooth buttery bokeh. Many point and shooters also use the macro function and long zoom function of the camera.

    Eureka!!
    Nikon FM2n, 50mm f/1.4 -AI-s Manual focus lens, Kodak BW400CN film ( expired)
