Not surprised. It's a wider audience.

A lot of old message boards/forums are dying because of FB.

got a sweet deal the other day for a MacBook Pro, the only one left on the open box list hehe

I guess the best way to handle this is to move on as well, we'll find sweet deals here and there within this forum, BTB included.

Also, like other businesses during the pandemic they gotta survive and sell to everyone.

Facebook killed off a lot of online forums like PinoyMac, Philmug.org, PinoyExhange, DPP, PinoyPhotography and scores more forums.

Facebook has all the users in their groups. 1 price list can reach million at one send. This does not include forwarded by 3rd parties.

Any Macs (save for those absurdly old ones) left on the open box list? I wasn't able to visit this time.

i got the last one on the list so i guess wait for the next open box sale.

about those imacs, even the staffs there are discouraging to purchase those old imacs, so i guess they still care.

Much easier to maintain communication on fb as you can integrate it with other platforms via api and other third party solutions for cs. and of course the wider reach, almost everybody is on fb.
