Hi Guys, I posted this message last night in the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 thread but as I was checking the other online site, the seller again posted the unit (even though she is already aware that it is a china copy). Please be careful, her username is markosandovaloo. Here is my warning: Guys, this is important. I was looking for a Galaxy Note 3 for my sister and I was searching for a good deal in TipidCP. Saw one selling a 5 days used Note 3, complete with NTC Seal and receipt for Php 28,000. We set an appointment tonight and low and behold, her Galaxy Note 3 is a China Copy. Please be careful as aesthetics wise, it looks a 100% exact copy. Here are the things I noticed that are different: 1. Switching it on, the screen is LCD and not super amoled. 2. There is a slight lag to it. 3. The *#0# is still working so don't use this as a basis. 4. The S-Pen is what made me 100% sure it's a copy, it looks flimsy. 5. There is even a receipt! 2nd Floor store in Greenhills (not sure if it is affiliated with the lady). 6. The seller is a lady, kinda attractive and I think this is their modus operandi. 7. There is even an NTC Seal and 1 year Samsung Warranty in the back. Please be safe guys, be careful when buying. Hope this help and be prevented.

the worst thing is that her face was just as neutral as it is when I said it was a China copy even though she said she didn't know. Now she knows that it is a China Copy and still posted it online.
I'll look for her username and will pretend to buy the phone so we can meet up. Let's see what happens next.
I think a friend of mine was one of the casualties of this modus, the kinda attractive girl and a china copy phone, it was an S3 unit. Didnt realize it was a clone unit until someone told him about it.

I remember my tito checking the legitimacy of my iPhone 4 in greenhills (7xxxxxxxxA4S), and I found a way also to check its validity by going to the Apple Support page. Serial numbers are required to be checked outside the box and inside the phone. Even though the reflective NTC seal would call it a truce to this matter, damn, good luck guys! (You really have to inspect over-the-counter, if they didn't let you, force them, if tigas ng ulo, leave the store right away, buti nga sila )
That is exactly why I stick to known online resellers on ebay and Sulit, the ones I've done business with in the past. Chances are their prices are about 1k to 2k more, but at least you're sure of the merchandise. I'd rather pay more for an expensive Samsung than a super-cheap Samsong.
This seller is selling Samsung S4 as well in Sulit.. for the same RFS, she wants to try 5s.. maybe after that she would also like to join PhilMug.. wapakz!! :-D
You know what? The seller should also show their IMEI (*#06#) and SN displayed in the description to show fully the validity of the handset + contents. You can verify the device online, or maybe try to go to Samsung for that haha!
