Since you have a bdo visa card, you can try your luck at the 12.12 promo of bdo visa, which is likely they will have. That is a 12% rebate for purchases made on that day. You can ask the stores how much is the straight card price. They will probably quote your a price lower than srp. This assuming other apple dealer stores still have stock of what you want.
What's the rationale behind the 5k price increase of 2015 MBPs Retina? Did apple bump up anything? Still looking for good deals for 2015 MBP. Unfortunately indont have bdo visa
i haven't checked the prevailing retail price at epicentre @ somerset 313, singapore (just learned that this branch has closed) which was a stone-throw from my office but with my recent chat with a sales attendant clearly warned me about the price increase too before the store could even display a set of the MBP2016. while it's easy to point at foreign exchange rates as the culprit, the obvious reason could be high demand considering the price and unnecessary modifications on the latest MBP. we're not all so ready with moving and quickly adapting to the all-USB-C-port machine.
No more stocks of MBP 15" 2.5 at BTB, only 2.2 at Century and Uptown branches, per online inquiry. The 2.2 is still listed at apple.ph but I'm wondering whether the 2.5 as upgrade has the dedicated AMD graphics I need or just an upgrade/configurable from 2.2 with only Iris Pro. The full tech specs don't seem to indicate the additional graphics. Looks like out of stock already.
Speaking of not ready for USB-C, the 2016 MBP (at least for the base model that I'm checking) is currently discounted on BHPhoto ($100 off). Makes me want to reconsider it, just need someone to bring it here (shipping it via air will just offset the savings, and I saw an online seller selling the base model for 76.5k).
I haven't seen any brochures of apple products from the ongoing SITEX (IT show) but epicentre published this photo earlier. FOREX: 1SGD = 34.75PHP. With the price of the 13" MBP2016 base model @ $2188 (just ignore the freebies), it could fetch around P76K. If you can acquire it without the sales tax @ 7% by purchasing at the airport or as a tourist, that could save you P5322.31, paying only P70,700. Separately, I also just realized that the 15" MBP2015 available for sale at the (SG) apple website is the model doesn't come with the AMD Radeon R9 M370X . I hope I'm wrong.
I checked BTB stores and no more stocks of MBP 13" retina 256. Sad sad sad. They might be prepping for the new MBPs. Even Power Mac.
Hi guys. Really want grab the btb promo for mba and mbp using bdo visa. Problem is, i have credit card but not bdo. 20% off is a great deal for these laptops. Anyone who can make an agreement. Maki-charge lang po sa merong bdo visa sa inyo. Will pay it right away in full amount. Lets discuss on how we can compensate things. Thank you.
Planning to buy MBP 13" 2015 via apple website since it's hard to get a custom built on shops (i.e 16GB Ram 512GBSSD, etc) Question: is it ok to use a relative's credit card in my apple account to purchase to apple website online? Also is it safe to buy online via apple website? may mga known cases ba that the order is not arriving at all? i.e stolen, damaged etc. I am outside manila and currently very unavailable to make trips to look for MBP available stocks
Looks like the only way you can purchase the highend 15 2016 without resorting to ordering abroad is through second hand channels only. Even my suki gray dealers sold off their stocks quite a while ago. The only ones left on the market are the lowend models.
Congrats! Via online seller or BTB? I saw one from an online store selling it for 65K but we can't agree on the meet-up place. Decided to purchase the new MBP without Touch Bar instead via BHPhoto (aside from the 100$ instant rebate, BDO Visa gives 10% cash rebate too). Currently under order verification. I hope the order pushes through since B&H emailed me just now that they tried to call the LBC Shipping Cart phone number but no one was answering.
Hi guys. Any suggestions on other promo deals? TY.
Found last stock at A Shop (my early Christmas gift). This will serve as my home desktop since I have an Pad Pro for when i'm traveling, which surprisingly is better and nicer to use than my MBA.
were you able to do this transaction with BTB? tried asking this to them for about 3 times, but they declined as they are not sure if there will be units coming...i called up PowerMac at Greenbelt 3 and they still have some MBPR 13"...
Sa wed pa lang ako punta ng btb eh. Nagmsg ako knila sa fb to confirm yung ganitong terms, pwedi naman daw. Pero not sure talaga sila sa date ng availability. Pwedi naman irefund, otherwise. Hirap sila stocking eh. Ilang stores na rin natawagan ko to make my reservation. Habol ko kasi ung 20% off Almost 14k dn matitipid mo kumpara sa ibang store. Masyadong mahal sa powermac. :/
My friend broke my previous MBP (it's a BTO) and it will be replaced in a few weeks. and since the new replacement will be with me soon i am now thinking if i should sell it and get the 2016 model instead. But after reading a lot of complains about the 2016 model i am having second thoughts. If ever how much could i sell it? It's brand new By the way here's the specs: 3.1GHz dual-core Intel Core i7 processor, Turbo Boost up to 3.4GHz 16GB 1866MHz memory 1TB PCIe-based SSD Intel Iris Graphics 6100 Two Thunderbolt 2 ports Backlit Keyboard (Int’l English) & User’s Guide (English)
