I'm close to finishing the Single Player game and will move to multiplayer matches soon. Anybody got this game? I can't say this is better than MW2 since I still switch between them regularly (when BFBC2 had their demo out).

Any of you guys play on Xbox 360 (I prefer multiplayer on XBL over PSN)? I'm sure there are PS3 players here too. :)

PS3 player here. I'll be picking up this game later this afternoon along with the free BFBC2 Shirt from Datablitz Power Plant.

I'm personally torn between this and MW2. Though for my tactical mp fix, I'm going to have to side with BFBC2. Love that I can drive vehicles and the destructible environments really makes the gameplay something else.

A collapsing tower with enemies on top is a sight to see! :D

I like the small maps of MW2 for "free-for-all" type of game but BFBC2 forces all the players to be 'cooperative' or 'squad players' with the gameplay goals in an MP match (like you said 'tactical')- at least for the Invasion type of play.

MW2 players will need to adjust with BFBC2's trajectory physics - bullets and shells don't fly on a straight line :)

I just got it last night for the PS3. So fun! Although, I've been a beta tester for the PC version. Graphics for the PC version is much nicer though.

    Bought BFBC2 PS3 yesterday.

Jumped right into Multiplayer. It's pretty good although my squad mates always do their own thing. Also my Kill/Death Ratio is pretty bad. Last time I played this kind of game was COD4.

Played for around 2 hours. Time flew fast and my wife banned me from playing today hehe

Maybe we can have a Philmug Squad or something?

Anyway, here is a link for some good tips.

PC version here. My first Battlefield game (I'm tired of all the WW2 stuff) and liking it so far - coming from CoD4 and MW2.

Seems MP's is a bullet soak! I know there's a hardcore server somewhere...

My brother bought it (he even has the shirt) and I've been watching him play and... Holy cow it makes me want to play!! He's been playing online with some classmates and the multiplayer seems really fun. :D

After my exams I'll make a PSN account so I can play too. :)

It's great! Jump in multiplayer because that's where the reviews unanimously agree is great.

If you plan to get a copy, don't wait too long because there is still the limited edition available. It has some items that won't be available in the regular edition (supposedly)

If you're on a PC. Datablitz sells em' Limited Edition at 1500.

Better call the store first tho, I've heard copies are sold out.

PS3 version is 2.1k, less 100 if in cash.

The bonus items, apart from the shirt, are some multiplayer unlocks exclusive to owners of the LE version like 2 guns, some upgrades for vehicles and a couple of maps.

Yep this is correct. Add to that, R1 is for USA. R2 is for Europe.

For Battlefield Bad Company 2, most PS3 players have bought the R3 version since its the only one available at the moment. Although the PS3 is not region-locked (hence can play any region), you are restricted to playing with someone of the same region (as is the case with many multiplayer games)
