What software do you use to synch the time of your Macs (desktop and portables) with the Atomic Clocks?
I use OS X's built-in automatic time synching via the Date & Time panel in System Preferences, set to time.asia.apple.com. I understand these time servers are synched to the nanosecond with official atomic clock servers, so there's really no need to get a third-party app for it, DJ.
Good to know about the auto synching Adel, thanks. A little off topic though, One thing nice about Panther is that you can put your day, date & digital time on your desktop as a semi transparent floating window. Thing is, I can seem to set it using the 24 Hr. military type format. Anyway to do this? Tried to reset it in the Date & Time, but it never alters the floating window, still AM & PM. TIA, Cheers, [Edited on 1-10-04 by El CaMOTe]
Open system prefs, click date & time , click open international . Then you have all the options for time and date formats
