i have recently been trying, and failing to send usable archives via email. i archive .tif files no larger than 2mb per file using the right click contectual menu and selecting the archive "filename" menu item that results in a .zip file. when unzipped the files result in a DSstore icon and nothing usable. i have used this method many times before with 100% success but today the percentage dropped significantly.

i have not done anything different, some files ive sent successfully before failed today.

can anyone point me to the reason, or an altenative solution. email is just so much more convenient than handing it over in person. TIA.
