The Series 4 is here!
Who’s getting one this year?
Mm...me me me! Lol!
The new health monitoring features like ECG, irregular heart rhythm and low heart rate alert makes the Series 4 a must-have, not to mention the 35% larger screen. I m glad I held on to my first gen Watch and ignored the series 1 and 3. Opting for the wifi model. Cellular model useless since local Telco does not support e-sim.
Didn’t get to watch the keynote. Did they mention anything about the compatibility of the bands/straps of the Series 4 to the previous Apple Watches?
Maybe this new Apple Watch is better because that ECG monitor is the killer...
Apple Watch Hermès Stainless Steel Case with Ébène Barenia Leather Single Tour Deployment Buckle
the most expensive APPLE WATCH.
How Apple compute for the 30% increase in size? Based on my computation, I only get 4.5%. (44-42)/44
You should compute the size of the screen, not the case.
Ok. I always thought 42 now 44 is the size of the screen.
wonder when it will be officially released here?
Most probably by November, same with the previous release.
Sign me up! Stainless Steel 40mm with Sport Band. Series 0 user here too! Planning to use it for another 3 years!
Tempting to have an apple watch again. sold my series 0 more than a year ago and decided not to get the series 1-3.
I will be buying the stainless steel version as it is more resistant to shatter but more susceptible to scratch (the body, not the sceen). I hope it is available locally. Sadly the stainless steel version is restricted to the LTE equipped models, a feature not yet embraced by the local telcos.
My AW gen 0 is the stainless steel version but it shattered when it fell from table level. Maybe my luck was just terrible.
I'm torn whether I'll be getting the new AW S4 or PS4 Pro T__T huhuhuhu
I guess this should answer all questions about compatibility of your Apple Watch bands.
Apple will sell a TON of the Series 4!
Awww, I hope it would be sooner . So excited for this, been eyeing apple watch 3. Good thing I waited a bit, just in time for AW 4 release.
Mm...ECG, low heart rate alert, arthymia alert are equally important plus the existing high heart rate alert......but the most important is it is US FDA approved as a medical device. So, it is very accurate for a consumer-grade medical device.
Also, it has a fall/slip alert (fall detection). If you suffer a serious fall or slip, the Series 4 may automatically call your emergency contact.
Next stop? A blood glucose level sensor (for diabetics).
Will most probably get one due to the medical features. I'm hypertensive.
Hopefully the 44mm variant would have a presence on my wrist. Tried the 42mm before and couldn't buy it given that it looked really small on my wrist.
