    Hi guys,

I tragically busted my AW screen because I stupidly dropped it from my table while changing bands :(
My AW is out of warranty and I'm pretty sure the damage isn't covered by the warranty as well.
Anyone had any experience having it repaired? Is it cost-efficient to have it repaired? my AW is currently a stainless-steel 42mm series 1 AW and I'm worried that having it repaired via PMC/BTB will just cost like a brand new AW. Any advice on this? P.S. The display is still working...

another option is Greenhills. or if you can look for a busted (logic board) 42MM Gen 0 just get the lcd. or maybe you can try buying the lcd/glass at Ebay.

Hey guys, Thanks for your replies.
What do you guys recommend? Should I still spend $249+ USD to fix this or should I just get myself a new AW Nike+?

If i where on your shoes. i'll try Greenhills first.

I seen someone had his apple watch fixed same issues as yours @ FB apple watch ph/manila. they even mentioned looked for a "iCloud lock watch" swap the screen.

You mentioned this is Series 1? or you mean 1st gen. Series 1/2 = Dual core

Hey guys, I just went to GH today. The BTB Service Center actually charges 17k+++ for the AW replacement since they don't do LCD replacement only... So since it's sooo expensive, I just went to a random shop and they said they'll just swap screens for 5.5k.... Better than nothing so I went ahead with it. It's now tied in a rubber band and should wait overnight. I know the screen isn't Apple anymore but at least I can use it again... I didn't want to buy a new one as well because I feel like a next gen AW would be out this year as well...

    As posted above...

You can try local service centers.

    Or bring it to Greenhills.

My AW Series 0's screen got busted again because the battery inside got bloated. I got it fixed once again in Greenhills, in front of Shoppesville, there are a lot of stores there.

They charged me 2k because they only have an original AW battery left but it would be cheaper if it wasn’t an original AW battery

It looks the same but it is definitely slower and is more unresponsive. However I still recommend it because it is still functional and it is cheaper having them repair it than paying the service fee at BTB/PMC :) I'm still using the same AW BTW.

Where specifically in Greenhills should one go to have their apple watch serviced? The screen popped off on its own without being subjected to much stress and I want the screen to be securely reattached.
