I'm using a mall-bought leather strap attached to an Apple Watch band adapter that I got from Amazon.
Admin note: Given that Watch accessories now have their own sub-section, feel free to create separate threads for different accessories (straps, stands, chargers, et.al.).
Thought of buying spigen rugged armor for my SS apple watch to protect it from bumps in the gym, but upon reading the reviews that it can pose scratches on stainless steels, i settled for spigen slim armor instead.
i kinda like mine naked and stock, for now...but if i had to change anything, it would be some worn cordovan straps...
Was so excited when JAC informed my that my shipment has arrived: my long awaited Lunatik Epik Apple Watch Accessory - the most Epik Watch case to rule them all! Haha! To give you an idea how amazing the wrist presence is, here it is compared to my daily watch - a 48mm Tw Steel Very happy with my choice
Admin note: I've renamed this thread as "Apple Watch Bands and Cases". As such, discussions on bands/straps/buckles/cases/screen protectors and the like will be done here. Discussions on stands and docks will be done in a separate thread: http://www.philmug.ph/community/threads/apple-watch-stands-docks.94897/ Posts related to stands and docks have been moved to the aforementioned thread.
About the Spigen thin case - it snaps on easily, which means it also snaps off easily. Mine's already flown off a couple of times, from snagging on my clothes.
A question for those who've purchased band adapters from amazon.com -- which one did you choose? The highest-rated one, the LUVVITT, looks good but is a loop-type adapter (link: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00V9P7ZSA/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A1YCN99H7TYRNH). I think I might prefer a spring-loaded, straight-bar type, though I can't see one right now. Also: did you buy one for each band? I am wary of disconnecting/connecting repeatedly.
Mine is the Luvvitt. I only have one band so far but if ever I buy more, I'll be getting additional adapters. Too much of a hassle to screw/unscrew every time.
