Seeing as there's now a growing number of Apple Watch owners among philmugers, I'm creating this thread to discuss Apple Watch accessories. I don't have much. I own a 42mm Sports Edition with Blue Sports Band. I'm using a Champagne Gold Spigen Thin Case and a brandless wooden Apple Watch Stand.
Got it from an online seller here in Singapore for SGD20. There's also a cheaper variant that's made of hard plastic for about half the price.
What thinking about getting a case for the watch but chanced upon this article. What do you guys think? Don't buy an Apple Watch case - Business Insider
I think a case would make sense for certain activities while wearing the watch ..like mountain biking. For everyday use personally don't see any use for a case. I plan to use mine (stainless steel Milanese) without a case even for hiking, tennis , casual bike rides and outdoor walks.
Aside from extra protection, I might consider using a case for aesthetic purposes too. Like changing the look if you want a more rugged style or maybe changing the color/shade/finish according to your taste.
It wouldn't hurt getting a tempered glass screen protector. it's just 5 bucks anyway. I'm getting one since I own the Sports Edition which doesn't have sapphire glass.
These just arrived. I don't think I'll end up using them but hey, they were only 99¢ for 3 pcs. My Spigen stand should be arriving by the end of the month.
Any leads on locally available bands? Not quite comfortable wearing black bands on days am wearing brown shoes
Hi hitme! No i sold the milanese loop. My space gray sport edition is coming next week (fingers crossed).
The newer stocks don't have the text. Amazon already refunded the entire amount. Even offered that I order it again with free expedited shipping.
Nice! I wanted that stand too but I cannot afford it so I went with Spigen S330. Anyone of you heard about Monoy cases?
Nice choices... thinking of getting them as well. You had it shipped directly to you (Fedex direct) or via forwarder?
