I know Netflix will bill a locally issued credit card but will it work with a debit card (Unionbank EON card)? Has anyone tried to use his EON card to pay for Netflix?

Okay. I'm not concerned with the DNS since I have a VPN. Do I get it right if I assume you pay the Netflix subscription using only you card (not PayPal as AFAIK only US PayPal is allowed) and pay the DNS with either of the two?

Netflix will take a local credit card, just as long as you put a USA zip code.

I just found out that I use my EON debit card to pay for my Netflix subs. So yes, it will work.

Using playmoTV and a relative's Netflix account. Instead of paying for a new $7.99 account for two simultaneous streaming devices, we just upgraded their current plan to the $11.99 one which allows four simultaneous streaming devices. Saved me $4/month!

Lately when I play Netflix on my Apple TV, I get the notice "This blah blah blah is not available for instant viewing" Something like that. But when I play it on my Xbox One, it's ok.Could this be related to streaming simultaneously? But I'm not streaming at any of the Apple TVs, just one.

I get that error also once in a while when I'm watching it on my Android phone. I always thought that it was caused by my slow internet connection.

Slightly OT but related, anyone been having any issues accessing Netflix on an Apple TV or a Roku? Apparently Roku just issued a firmware update where the Netflix app does a DNS check to Google's DNS servers and correctly identifies my location in the Philippines despite using a SmartDNS service. It basically breaks Netflix on Roku even if working on all other devices on my network.

Only way is to set some sort of a static route on the router to block this checking by the Roku. Unfortunately this is not supported by Time Capsule.

Has this issue come up on Apple TV already?
