In Grid list view say in a playlist. There's no icon which album is playing.
The new iTunes 11 interface is simple, yet looks very clean. Initially, I was a little(?) confused because I got used to the previous version's interface, but after using it for a while, I think that this update truly reflects Apple's commitment to simplicity. The feature I like the most is the Up Next, which I was looking for in the previous version.

I am wishing for a "Get Lyrics" feature.
I can't add AAC files. Di ba talaga nakakabasa originally?
what I really like about iTunes11 - the MiniPlayer it gives me more screen real estate for other stuff i have in my desktop.
Music downloaded from the iTunes store are AAC, iTunes is capable of playing AAC files

Just notice now the NEW app/icon of iTunes 11. Previously there were comments about people who didn't like the icon of iTunes 10. Steve Jobs: iTunes 10 Icon Does Not
at least now the icon seems 'naturally blending' to the other apps in my dock. iClarified - Apple News - iTunes 11 Gets Tweaked App Icon
Mini player CAN NOT be toggle if you're in full screen mode. You have to exit that mode first. Hmm.
Enable your sidebar, create a playlist, drag and drop the songs you wanna add.
@memphis: Man you're right, I cannot toggle to the MiniPlayer from Full Screen Mode. Even the short cut keys do not work. You have to exit Full Screen to change to MiniPlayer, hassle.
Hi Eriction, I hope you were able to find it already. In case you haven't here's a snapshot from my iTunes. Notice in the upper left corner that I have Apps selected and in the lower right corner you'll notice two buttons, Check for Updates and Get More Apps.
Those two buttons, "Check for Updates" and "Get More Apps" don't show up in my iTunes even if I have the status bar enabled.
I got it now. I wasn't in the Apps section when I was looking for it. My bad. hehe.
iTunes 11 and iOS 6 doesn't allow you to delete music tracks if iTunes Match is enabled. If you turn off iTunes Match, your whole music library is automatically deleted and you have to redownload your music all over again.
Wishful thinking... Auto adding/updating all album artwork directly on an iPod's (Touch, Classic, or Nano) library instead of those in your computer since album artwork still at most times don't appear in my iPod Touch 5G even if I drag-and-drop from my computer's librabry/playlist and that's after Getting Album Artwork - Still hoping for this feature in the next iteration.
Yes, I did the assigning of album artwork on each and every song on my iPod Touch and it still didn't work which wasted most of my time... and to think most of my songs are ripped from orig CDs where iTunes didn't had any problems getting information while ripping. Any tips from those album artwork function masters out there?
On to the main topic - Lovin that sleek and smooth functioning UI.
Will try this one when I get home. Thanks
Here's why I can't play AAC files in iTunes.
