Apple DVD Player reinstall question

    i just installed a new samsung dvd burner on my quicksilver, which originally came with an apple cdrw drive, still running X.2... i only noticed now that the apple dvd player is not in my apps folder... how do i extract the dvd player from my install discs? is this even possible? salamat!

    Use Pacifist to extract the DVD installer package from one of your OS X CDs (forgot on which disc it is but it's there somewhere). :)
