For those who are interested for Apple Arcade (like me) it seems like it’s already available for some ahead of Friday launch. Here are some of the games that will be available among others at launch: Enchanted World Patterned Overland Card of Darkness Source: Apple Arcade: It’s time to Play I’m personally excited to try Ocean horn 2, Sayonara Wild Hearts, Exit the Gungeon, and Overland. And with controller support it’s a much enjoyable way to play these games.
Lego Brawls is fun to play with your kids. You can get 2v2 battles as well. My kids played it yesterday morning, while one of the devices was set to AirPlay on the TV for all to see.
Any thoughts on your experience so far with Apple Arcade? I initially had reservations with it because it’s a total overlap with the Nintendo Switch. And tempting as the $5 monthly fee is, I don’t want to add another monthly service fee. I’ve decided to terminate my subscription after my free trial, but I am curious as to what other muggers have decided. Are you keeping Apple Arcade? Why or why not?
The developers game concept motivation improves re-playability of the Apple Arcade games. Each week they release new ones and although not every game is perfect (UI control issues) the concepts are way better than the free-to-play games in the App Store. Most games I had issue with were optimized for the Apple TV and that breathe more life to it and bonding time with my kid at home. I think I’m keeping it.
My 11-year old girl is having fun with Hot Lava. I'd rather she play this on the TV than spending her time on dubious Roblox games on the iPad.
Mm....not sure about keeping the subscription. Young kids stuff...certainly much better than the violent, popular on-line games with its notorious in-app purchases. The 5 bucks per month is dirt-cheap by comparison. No ads, no in-app purchases, no unsuitable content. Game all you can for the price of a Mcdo meal. AA certainly opens the door for Apple to make even more powerful Apple TV hardware......a Pro Version of the ATV. Maybe not enough to compete with console gaming but enough to attract even more gamers. Google has Stadia service coming soon. I m sure Apple sees the opportunity as well to enter the very lucrative gaming market (far bigger than Hollywood). With Apple under pressure to stave off declining iPhone sales (part of an industry trend), AA will be a lifesaver and, potentially, an MVP for Apple's growing and lucrative Services segment. Perhaps an Apple Arcade Plus......then I ll take a second look. Apple should buy Sony's gaming division.....a leapfrog into gaming.
Fantasian from Final Fantasy creator Hironobu Sakaguchi is really looking cool. The settings based on diorama models are really cute and the ability to just explore and send monsters somewhere else you can fight them later when you want to is very interesting. I'd definitely subscribe when this game releases. https://www.theverge.com/games/2021...n-diorama-rpg-apple-arcade-hironobu-sakaguchi
What a coincidence! I decided to finally try my free 3months subscription to Apple Arcade because I believe it's nearing the deadline when I could get it after buying Apple TV in January and now I saw this https://kotaku.com/final-fantasy-creators-new-rpg-is-out-and-painfully-pre-1846610214 Fantasian is out! Bye for now time to play!
Since the Fitness+ app ins't available yet, I'm looking for a fitness game for Apple TV/Apple Watch similar to the Nintendo Switch Ring Fit game. Any suggestions?
