I'm just wondering if there's a way to rip the background audio track from a DVD (it's a commercial DVD that I own), without the dialog track? Since some DVDs have multiple languages, I'm guessing that the background audio track is the same and it's only the dialog track that changes. Is this the case?

Back when I was using Panther (OS 10.3) I had a program called OSEx to rip DVD's. From a drop down list, OSEx was able to extract an audio track from the DVD. Unfortunately, it was not compatible with OS 10.4.

I mention the above as a reference: I do not recall seeing a separate dialog track and background audio track. I recall seeing the different languages - even the director/actor commentary tracks but never a music only track.
