@ dandy, say if the files are under apimac, will it still be searchable under spotlight or finder? i mean from personal experience. thanks.
rafael, you are correct. this will only hide the folder but not encryt it. i also use Espionage. PS. if you lost or forget the password, see troubleshooting page section. http://www.apimac.com/secret_folder/help/ NOTE: for MAC OS X, download the Apimac Version '08 build 089. (or else you will get errors..)
Thank you for the links. I don't think using FileVault is a good idea since I only wanted to password-protect a folder or two. ^_^ v
