    Hi Guys,

You may want to try out the AOL radio for Mac. The best thing about this service is that you get to listen to XM sattelite radio for free. You just need to register an AIM screename.

    http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/internet_utilities/aolradio.html

The songs in xm are way better than the ones you'll find in itunes radio.

    Enjoy!
    Macky

The stations are more together than the ones in iTunes, and have loads better programming. Streams more consistently too.

I like the fact that there is a dedicated Anime theme music station, a Soundtrack station, and a TV theme station. Thanks for sharing this.

Good selection of channels, but the sound quality could be better. Definitely sounds flanged.

I still swear by Pandora for my aural wallpaper needs =)

EDIT: I just discovered that there's a different audio codec and slightly more bandwidth for the XM channels than for the AOL channels. The XM channels do sound a little better.

Last week went to aolradio.com to chek it out. The moment I saw the Urge logo I knew they made the web radio experience limited to PCs only.

Good thing for this app. It even updates iChat status as well. It's something that I would like Pandora to have. I agree, Pandora just sounds better but this is a welcome addition for my web radio addiction. The stream is faster too.
