I'm using Echo/Alexa and Hue bulbs. Planning to order WeMo Light Switch also to control the ceiling fan.

I normally turn on the aircon in our room at about 9 PM & schedule the timer to turn off the a/c by 5 am. What I'd like to do is have our electric fan then turn on at that time. Is there any device that can turn on the electric fan at a designated time & if it's available locally or abroad? TIA.

mmmm....Condura aircons have this feature. What you are looking for is a digital timer. I use them to automatically turn on and turn off my electric mosquito killers. Got them at True Value or look for them at ACE or DIY.

    Something like this: http://olx.ph/item/24x7-digital-programable-plug-and-socket-timer-ID4ZlHF.html?p=26#b65f8b9b60

I've seen "tronix brand" locally available doing that kind of thing. Sometimes they even advertise on the newspaper.

Edit: found this in their web, http://www.innovatronix.com/index.php/products/item/39-tronix-energy-savers-and-appliance-protectors

We have a carrier and they have this feature, you plug the fan to the aircon then it is supposed to trigger turning on the fan when the aircon turns off.

    Haven't tried it yet though.

I've tried it with Condura aircons and it works. You need to make sure the fan is already turned on to desired settings and connected to the Condura plug when you switch the timer on the Condura aircon. When the aircon timer is done, it will turn off the aircon unit and supply power to the fan.

another smart device i saw on apple store is Netatmo Welcome. You could track people going in and out with facial recognition.

im also looking into biometric door locks/knobs set like the ones in the hotel rooms but using biometrics.
