Anyone heard of TVU player?

    i saw my cousin using the program on his windows XP laptop. and how i envy him.... is there a program like that for mac? a program where we could stream live TV shows/ TV channels thru the internet?

    i'm not sure if my memory serves me right, but i think i downloaded (and uninstalled) a live stream TV widget a month ago...

    I've been using TVUPlayer with my MBP thru Boot Camp. Started using it during the NBA finals complete with commercials and pre/post game interviews. I also watched most World Cup matches live!:rolleyes:

    There is a program called peercast which i haven't tried but downloaded. You might want to try it.

    Is TVU freeware?Do you have to pay when you watch live shows?

    the app itself is freeware.. according to their site, it uses P2P to stream.. i don't think anyone i've read using it had to pay for any of the shows..

    so i guess there is no program for mac that is like this... how sad
