Just curious why you bought hardware that was more than 3 years old.
i bought an ipad mini 3 two years ago, which i recently sold for a brand new iPad Pro 9.7 - also fairly old tech. not everyone has the luxury of buying the latest and the greatest for their peripherals (i reserve that honor for iphones as i use that device daily).
I normally plan my device purchases (so I basically only buy it on the first 3 months of release)
But, I'm presently thinking of getting an iPod Touch for my drone/games/Apple Music.
bought it for the kids, the normal ipad is too big hence our only option is the mini 4.
Bought an iPad Mini 2 from a PhilMugger here
Been using it as our Waze navigator on our van, because you know, everyone wants a bigger view of the road ahead...
Not questioning about the affordability. I just take issue with Apple selling old hardware at original price points.
I think the iPad Mini 4 is the craziest thing Apple is selling.
Mac Mini/Pro - people will have a reason to buy it
iPod Touch - it's your entry to the world of iOS
But the iPad Mini is more expensive than the new iPad (Mini is S$598 while the iPad starts at S$498) ... It's also slower (A8 processor)
I love the size of my iPad Mini, but like the iPod Touch, it needs a processor upgrade.
What a good idea. Now I know what I’ll do with my iMac when I get a new one.
To answer the question - I would buy a Mac Mini. I have an almost 10-yr-old Mini for, er, 24/7 duty and wouldn’t mind a 3-yr-old one.
Same here, bought a Mac Mini a few months ago. I used a Mac Mini from 2012 to 2018 in our clinic, and it was just a tad too slow na for us. My clinic partner didn't want to spend for an iMac, unfortunately
