im trying to get the details on my imac's dvd-rom drive (region settings, firmware version etc) but dvdinfox only works on dvd drives with write capabilites (dvd combo drives or dvd-writers). anyone a different utility that i can use? been googlin' for the past hour and can't find any. i need to get my dvd-rom's details so i can upgrade the firmware to rpc1(region-free). im running osx 10.2.4 and when i check system profiler it doesn't even show the exact model of the dvd-rom drive.
