Hi Fellow Philmuggers, Just want to ask if you know any shop where i could sell some old stuff. Old tv,radio etc. that where built in the 70-80's Thanks PS. if there is already a thread about this, please comment the link
Mm..sell it in Carousell. Call it vintage electronics....may appeal to some collectors....niche market. If it is hughly desirable, consign it in local antique shops. Not sure if those shops still exists.
You can take photos, maybe print them out staple them into an envelope and ask to give them to the owners of shops in malls... There was a couple shops in Megamall before you could try there. But yeah I'd agree with @raypin and online selling would still be your best bet...
There are dozens of online selling groups on FB that deal with antique and vintage items. That's where I get my old books, pens, paintings, etc. Forget the physical shops--the consignment fees will be high and the traffic slow. Online you get instant queries, and you can use Lalamove to ship. Also, do your research ahead of time and be prepared to quote a reasonable selling price. Nakakainis yung "name your price" or "what's your offer?" That means the seller doesn't know his or her stuff.
Mm...the reason I suggested consignment sale is because if the item is highly desirable or collectible, you have the benefit of using the antique dealers’ network of collectors. I m guessing since I am not into vintage anything. My guess is 1980s vintage are not saleable....now, if you have working radios from the analog era...from the 40s or 50s.....
Sell it here, maybe some of us Muggers might find them to be appealing and buy them. Who knows? If that radio is circa 1950s and working on tubes then maybe you got yourself a buyer haha.
hey guys, just want to ask if you guys know any shops that sell real vintage shirts? or maybe if you have any shirts that are not being used from 80s to early 2000s, I would be very interested to buy them.
^I have those, well some of those, but they’re either tattered, abused, stretched out, or simply that I still like using them. There’s something about wearing old vintage shirts that lasted the test of time. My oldest is actually a 1976 Kabataang Barangay blue T-shirt given by who else when we graduated from Grade 6. Apparently, it was a free size shirt that went to my mother, was kept in a baol, found in the 80’s, used by my brother, then found it a couple of years ago in the aparador. It’s now colored gray. There used to be a shop in Cubao X that sells real vintage shirts. I haven’t returned there since 2016. Maybe you can check it out.
