Trying out Hunters now. starring Al Pacino as the leader of a jewish underground group from the 70s (al pacino's character being an holocaust survivor) organized to "hunt" (thus the title) escaped Nazis who are living under assumed names or identities to avoid prosecution for their war crimes... the twist here is that instead of the nazis merely hiding, they are also organized and geared to combat the Jewish cabal and perhaps even resurrect Hitler's failed plans.. which is to establish not just a 3rd reich but a fourth one (whatever that means). episode 1 was promising. 1 1/2 hrs long.. on to episode 2

Will check this out. Thanks for the reco! Strangely been interested in Hitler & Nazis. Already watched Man In The High Castle. Premise is it's a parallel universe where the Allies lost & the Axis won. So now the USA is divided between Germany & Japan.

Also just watched Good Omens which was based on the novel of Neil Gaiman. Haven't read it, but i enjoyed the watching it. It's about an angel & a demon who were put on earth to do their respective roles (do good & bad things) while waiting for the arrival of the antichrist.

Hunters would have been better as a standalone movie than a series. Just into episode 3 and it was dragging. The timeline would’ve been linear if it were made a movie. Just saying...

Just finished Hunters and man, that ending!

I mean, the first twist was brilliant, but the surprise at the end? Jumped the shark?

^Will go straight ahead to the ending then and finish up Hunters ;)

Tales of the Loop is coming soon on APV. Kind of like Tomorrowland but will see if it’s better.

Because it was a lazy weekend, I clicked on Treadstone and filled up my afternoon with some Jason Bourne-like drivel. Looked like Bourne Legacy but more assets who have headaches, superhuman skills, and less human relationships. Finished it actually after binge-watching (and alternately fast-forwarding less action scenes). Should’ve watched Hunters instead. Will try next weekend.

Enjoyed watching "Modern Love", an anthology of unconventional love stories, with familiar actors.

ICYMI, HBO's popular shows from previous years (Sopranos, Rome, The Wire, True Blood, Entourage, etc.) are now unavailable in the US Prime catalog. You're gonna need an HBO subscription to watch those titles on Amazon Prime.

I guess like Netflix, It's not as extensive as the US counterpart? But so far I'm ok with the existing AMazon original series.

That's a Prime original. I think most, if not all, Prime originals are available worldwide.
