Guys and gals, do you know of any other universal video players besides VLC that we can use for Macs? Thanks.
The Archos AV420 works ok with my set-up. I haven't fully exploited the capabilities of iTunes, but it connects seamlessly with a mini-USB cable to synch and to double as an ext hard drive. Plus the screen is more than 2x that of the Ipod video. It has a CF-slot, A/V in and out, incl S-video, great sound and video quality too. However, Its bulkier and heavier too, so if portability is an issue, stick with the smaller ipods. I guess it boils down to what your needs are. Hope this helps...
