airport problems

    There is a Problem with my Airport Card on my 17 inch G4 Powerbook. It says on the more info that No information found. i used the wireless before but now its gone. is there a way of fixing it?:(

    try restarting your powerbook first..

    If this is not solved yet, try resetting the PRAM.

    Resetting PRAM:
    1. Shut down the computer.
    2. Locate the following keys on the keyboard: Command, Option, P, and R. You will need to hold these keys down simultaneously in step 4.
    3. Turn on the computer.
    4. Press and hold the Command-Option-P-R keys. You must press this key combination before the gray screen appears.
    5. Hold the keys down until the computer restarts and you hear the startup sound for the second time.
    6. Release the keys.

    Or you may want to this first before applying the above tip: you will do it anyway naman with the tip below.

    If this will not work, try to shut down the computer, remove the power cable and battery. hold down the power button for 5 seconds. Reinsert the battery and attached the power cord. then follow the resetting PRAM again.

    I think its easily accessible, try simply pulling it out and re-inserting it.
